Attention of the International Communities has been drawn to the insersance mayhem and threat to live unleashed on the peace loving people of Akwa Ibom State by the All Progressive Congress (APC) Federal Government and her agency, the Nigerian Police.

The Akwa Ibom State Youth Caucus, comprising of the State Youth Council, Dakkada Ambassadors, Village Youths, Female Youths and the Christian Youth made the petition public during a Press conference held at NUJ Press Center Uyo, to raised public consciousness about the evil plans by APC leadership in the state to cause anarchy as well as politically motivated crimes in the state.
In a release read by the state Chairman of the Youth Caucus, Comrade Aniefiok Iwaudofia said they are aware of the clandestine moves by the leadership of APC to mayhem and anarchy in Akwa Ibom State where a Sole Administrator will be appointed so as to help manipulate the 2019 election in favour of opposition APC in the State.

Here him, “the APC in the state have boasted that elections may not likely hold in Akwa Ibom simultaneously with other states. Their plans are to instigate political crises and civil unrest to a point INEC will be forced to postpone elections in Akwa Ibom State for security reasons to later date with a view to deploying all security agencies in Nigeria (maybe 100,000 policemen) to the state to rig elections like they did in Ekiti state since they have Federal might (Police force, DSS, Army & Civil Defense in their pockets.) This is so because, they have boasted that INEC is in their pockets and that they will change all the INEC staff in Akwa Ibom State and bring in those that will help them rig the elections. We are not taking these boost for granted and we assure them that we are ready and will wait for them with the people’s might which is stronger than the so-called federal might”.
The Caucus Chairman observed other plans of the APC to harass, arrest, kidnap, assassinate PDP leaders, commissioners, youth leaders and PDP stakeholders in the state and condermned APC plans to blackmail the state Governor, Mr. Udon Emmanuel against President Buhari among others to demonize the governor before the presidency.
The Caucus says they want the Federal Government of Nigeria to note that Akwa Ibom State is the highest producer of crude oil & the highest revenue generating State for Federal Government where the state money is used to develop other States and this is made possible by the prevailing peace in the state created by Gov. Udom Emmanuel’s administration.
The group assured the state governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel of their unalloyed support and loyalty based on his superlative performance, and he should not be distracted but remain focused realizing that only God gives power.

“We want APC in Akwa Ibom State to note that the youths of Akwa Ibom State are solidly with Gov. Udom Emmanuel and will cast their votes massively for him, protect and defend the votes at all the polling units, follow it up to respective collation centers and also make sure our votes are rightly counted, collated and announced by INEC.”
“That as youths, we want to warn that we will not be intimidated to fold our arms and watch the APC cause a breach of peace. Rather, we will do everything within the ambit of the law to defend the government of Gov. Udom Emmanuel which has brought the kind of peace we have never witnessed in Akwa Ibom State.”
The group saluted the doggedness and courage of the speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr. Onofiok Luke in standing on the side of the justice in line with the rule of law during the recent crises that rocked the assembly over declaration of seats of some former members vacant following court order to that effect, and commended the Senator representing Uyo Senatorial District, Obong Bassey Albert for drawing attention of the Nigerian Senate to the dastard act caused by APC apologists.
