Breaking: EFCC freezes Akwa Ibom State Government Accounts

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has frozen the account belonging to the Akwa State Government.

According to a source who wants to be anonymous, this action is meant to cripple the state from impacting positively in the lives of the people, so as to render the state government inept in the eyes of the electorate.

The source further alleged that it is engineered by Senator Godswill Akpabio, who is defecting today to the All Progressive Congress (APC),  to deprive Governor Emmanuel  of funds ahead of the 2019 elections.

“It’s unconstitutional; against all known rule of law; it a brazen display of impunity”

“It’s the height of wickedness  by Senator Akpabio against the common man who voted for and supported him for 8years” he added.

It’s time the International community rises against the growing level of impunity in the country
