EKET: Councilor Fetes Ward, Woos Support for PDP

In preparation to fulfill the promise of delivering 100% vote in Eket Local Government to His Excellency, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and the entire PDP aspirants in the 2019 general election, the councilor, representing  Ward (2) Central in Eket Legislative Council, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey Ikott  have commenced in-house meetings to woo support for the party.

The meeting held at his home residence in Afia Nsit Village in Eket LGA, is to ensure that all grievances and problems in the ward are amicably addressed so as to strengthen their support base in other to deliver unit-by-unit vote in the upcoming 2019 general election.

Mr. Tommey who is the Majority leader of Eket Legislative Council, said there will be no better party in the country that will work tirelessly and selflessly for its people than the Peoples Democratic Party.

“What has happened in recent time is a proof that the Peoples Democratic Party is the only party that can better the lives of the people”

“It is a proof that the people now know, after tasting the venom from the APC concealed in the ‘CHANGE’ they promised Nigerians, that there is no better place for solace than the PDP”- he added

While acknowledging the fact that PDP is the only party that can guarantee development and foster a progressive economy, the Councilor urged the electorates not to be weary in their conviction that the party (PDP) will deliver its promises.

Mr. Tommey further stated that Governor Udom Emmanuel and the Executive Chairman, Hon. Frank Archibong are leaders that feel the pangs of Eket people, and are working assiduously to ensure that the prosperity and development of of Eket and its people are achieved.

He prayed the electorates to remain calm and work uncompromisingly for the reelection of the Governor, and also support the Chairman to deliver dividends of leadership as promised.

 

Those present are: Mr. Tony Tommey, Elder Etebong Harry, Ubong Ekwere, David Mbre, Elder Joe Etukudo, Etekamba Tommy, Mr. Tommy Enodien and a host of other dignitaries.
