GOV UDOM’s CONTINUITY IS OUR PRIORITY- Elder Ben Udobia

The political leader of Esit Eket LGA, *Elder* Benjamin Udobia, *has* restated that the people of Esit Eket *have* no alternative to Governor Udom Emmanuel and as such, his 2019 continuity project is their priority.

Elder Udobia stated this when he hosted party chieftains and stakeholders of Esit Eket to a breakfast meeting at his Ewet Housing residence in Uyo, the state capital.

Ben Udobia who is the deputy director general of the divine mandate campaign organization, urged for total *cooperation* and unbias unity for the purpose of maintaining *a* strong base for the party in the area during the upcoming elections.

Speaking on behalf of the women, Obonganwan Grace Ikott reiterated that Esit Eket women are united for the success of Udom Emmanuel’s second term bid.

She admitted that the unity enjoyed by the women of the area is spurred by the leadership exposition of the political leader, Elder Benjamin Udobia.

She restated that the voice and decision of Elder Udobia remains the directive all the women will follow.

Speaking further, Mrs. Maria Theresse Robson, wife of the executive chairman, Mrs. Ini Akpanusoh, wife of the house member representing Esit Eket / Ibeno State constituency, Dr. Ini Adaikpan, Hon. Grace Ekpo; senatorial woman leader, Esit Eket chapter, Princess Agness Akwaowo, and Hon. Grace Itama further implored all the women in the area to remain loyal and committed to the course of strategising for the electoral victory of Udom Emmanuel come 2019.

In his remarks, the member representing Esit Eket / Ibeno State constituency, Dr. Akpanusoh; advised the women to proactively stir their political mechanism by persuading and incorporating more women into political practice for greater democratic dividends.

Akpanusoh however informed the gathering that the party’s structure in Esit Eket is United for the re-election of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
He stressed that the people of the area will benefit enormously in the second term of Udom Emmanuel.

Usoro, in an effort to reignite the passion of the women to fully participate in politics and canvass support for the PDP, promised to collaborate with stakeholders to support the women by providing them with different uniforms to enable their active involvement in every political outings.

Addressing the forum, the newly elected South-South vice chairman of PDP chapter chairmen forum, Hon. Elder Eddy Etangkanga in his submission posited that the success of PDP in the forthcoming elections is paramount in every agenda.

Hon. Iniobong Robson; executive chairman of Esit Eket reassured the political leader of the unwavering engagement of his political tools towards achieving the re-election success of Udom Emmanuel.

Iniobong informed that the distribution of permanent voters Card (PVC), will commence shortly in the area. He called for all legible voters who are yet to obtain their PVCs to seize the opportunity to do so.

Giving a vote of thanks, the president of Afigh Iwaad Ekid, Obongiwaad (Pst.) Godwin Williams commended the political leader for his fervent support for the growth of PDP.

Obongiwaad maintained that the return of Udom Emmanuel will further attract development to the area with enormous benefis for the people of Esit Eket.
