AKHA 2019: Akpanusoh Celebrate 47th. Birthday With Mega Empowerment.

The aspiration of Dr. Usoro Akpanusoh’s re-election for a second term to represent the good people of Esit Eket / Ibeno state constituency was again undeniably boosted with assurances and endorsement by political stakeholders and royal fathers in the area at the occasion of his 47th birthday thanksgiving service/empowerment and constituency briefing, held at the Holy Cross Lutheran primary school ground, uquo Esit Eket, LGA.

Addressing the mammoth crowd who thronged out in solidarity, Governor Udom Emmanuel lauded the unimpeachable legacies of Akpanusoh in the sixth assembly.

Gov Emmanuel, who was ably represented by the Commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-eyen; while thanking the people of the area for their firm support reassured them of his administration’s readiness to partner with lawmakers within the creative scope of Akpansuoh to excel in the course of ameliorating poverty and crime through self empowerment and job creation.

In his speech, Dr. Akpanusoh hinted that his decision to effectively represent and empower his constituents is to balance on political promises.

 

He reiterated his commitment and loyalty to the leadership of the party and pledged to align with the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel to legislate laws that will fast track the actualization of industrial development inline with dakkada philosophy.

 

The lawmaker hinted that a total of five (5) bills has been sponsored by him while he admitted to have co-sponsored ten (10) bills as well as several motions moved during plenary aimed at ensuring safety of lives and properties in the the state.

The sate chairman of the PDP, Obong Paul Ekpo, described the lawmaker as an expensive asset stressing that it is a thing of joy to see Usoro performing beyond expectations.

Also lauding the efforts of the Legislator, Barr. Onofiok Luke; speaker of the sixth assembly in his message of felicitation commended the electorates urging them to support the call for the reelection of the his colleague whom he described as a man of capacity and foresight.

The speaker however reaffirmed the sixth assembly’s support to the Governor and to legislate laws that will further accelerate mandate delivery.

Onofiok further emphasized that the contributions of Dr. Akpanusoh to the growth and unity experienced in the sixth assembly deserved an accolades.

In his speech, the Deputy DG of divine mandate organization Elder Benjamin Udobia; chairman of the occasion appreciated the people of Esit Eket /Ibeno State constituency on their confidence and support in promoting and projecting programs, policies and activities of Governor Udom Emmanuel led PDP administration.

 

Elder Udobia; who is the political leader of Esit Eket thanked his Excellency the Governor of Akwa Ibom State for the award of contract for the construction of 14.8 km road and government intention to rehabilitate Aqua palm industry which he said will help boom the state economy, commercial activities and job creations.

 

The political leader commended the effective representation of Dr. Akpanusoh; stating that the lawmaker’s impeccable legislative leadership has further strengthen and renewed hope and confidence of constituents in supporting the course of the umbrella Party.

 

Elder Ben who is also the managing director of Benest Technical services, a reliable indigenous construction company with unimpeachable records of excellence in road constructions charged those at leadership positions to endeavor to practice responsive governance.

 

He however restated the electorates unwavering support and loyalty to the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and their readiness to partner in returning Udom Emmanuel as Governor come 2019.

He maintained that collective and sustainable partnership in empowering constituents will ensure fair and equitable distribution of democratic dividends as exemplified by Usoro Alpanusoh’s empowerment standard and representation.

 

In his goodwill message, the executive chairman of Esit Eket Hon. Iniobong Robson; appreciated the assembly man on his resounding roles towards promoting and sustaining peace and unity between the two LGA’s.

He said he is proud to have a lawmaker in the likes of Usoro as his constituency representative. he admitted that the lawmaker has given the people a voice and his capacity to lead is proven beyond doubt.

 

Speaking, the senior special Adviser to the governor on special duties cum political leader of Ibeno local government area Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Ette; applauded the giant strides of Governor Udom Emmanuel to remodel the state inline with global standard.

 

Ette; a one time aspirant in the the 2015 gubernatorial race whose memories as the longest ever serving state lawmaker to have represented Esit Eket / Ibeno state constituency submitted that Usoro’s glorious testament in the sixth assembly has silenced antagonists and proven his decision for nominating the later as his successor practically and politically wise.

He consciously expressed delight upon Akpanusoh’s performance and declared his support and endorsement for the second term bid of the incumbent lawmaker.

 

Also speaking, the PDP chapter chairmen for Esit Eket and Ibeno Hon. Eddy Etanganga and Hon. Emma Ibok; both lauded the effort of the assembly man.

 

Elder Eddy who is one of the beneficiary with a Camry car said there is no other party in the constituency that could contend with the PDP. They thanked the lawmaker and promised to work in unison to return all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The paramount ruler of Ibeno, HRM.(Dr.) Effiong Achiang; in his goodwill message eulogized the lawmaker on his captivating legacies and maintained that Usoro should be re-elected for another term of four years.
Hear him, “with what I have witnessed here; and to reflect on the scorecard of Dr. Akpanusoh; I urge my colleagues to join me as I endorse him ( Usoro) to represent us for another term of four years.

 

 

High point of the event was presentation of one million naira (1.M) support to the lawmaker for the purchase of second term nomination form by forum of Esit Eket / Ibeno PDP ward chairmen.
Speaking onbehalf of the forum, Mr. Efanga commended Akpanusoh’s exceptional representation stating that the party ward chairmen in the constituency will not fail to mobilize support for the victory of the lawmaker’s second term.

 

Empowerment items donated includes 11 cars, 23 mini buses, 3 Speed Boats, 10 Tricycle Trucks,19 Generators/Hair dryers, 38 motorcycles, 26 sewing machines, 20 Barbing Sets with generators.
