The ongoing continuous Voters registration exercise in the state is becoming so intense as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon. Victor Antai is bent on ensuring that  the number of registered voters in Akwa Ibom is increased to the maximum.

The Commissioner for Culture And Tourism, who commenced his day two CVR campaign with a meeting with stakeholders across Oron Federal Constituency at his country home, said Oron must show example for others to follow.

“I am taking it as a challenge to improve the voting strength of Oron Federal constituency”

“This is not about any political ambition, but in ensuring that we have the eligible registered crowd to effect change and make right choices where necessary” – Antai said.

He urged all stakeholders to take full responsibility of sensitising the electorates on the need to register in the ongoing  permanent Voters Card (PVC).

iThe executive chairman of Urueofong, Hon. Umanah Efombruh, Hon. Ubuo Ubuo, Okobo,   Okon Esin Oku, Udung Uko, councillors and Ward chairmen from the area are in attendance to join the tourism and culture commissioner in today’s sensitisation excercise.
