In salvaging Akwa Ibomites from this unpleasant harvest of electoral fraud caused by the APC led federal government and to increase the number of registered voters in the state, The Hon. Commissioner For Culture & Tourism, Rt.Hon. Victor Antai, a Frontline aspirant for Eket Senatorial District Race in 2019 has flagged off Voters Card Registration sensitization/awareness tour across the 31 local government area in Akwa Ibom State.

Antai, who commenced  the sensitization tour from Mbo local government where he matched through Ibaka,Unyenge, Orukim to Uda village respectively with a microphone, preaching the need to posses the voters card.

While in Ukontighi, the commissioner commended Governor Udom Emmanuel on his effort in constructing some major roads in Oron Federal constituency.
He told the people that the only way of appreciating and encouraging the Governor to double up efforts in developing Oron Federal constituency is to go out and register in the ongoing voters registration exercise.

Hon. Antai further assured the people that the Governor will not fail Oron people if given the mandate to return in 2019.

He maintained that securing permanent voters Card (PVC), is the only legitimate method of sustaining the landmark achievements of Udom Emmanuel adding that a second term of four years for the Gov. Emmanuel will be an added advantage to boost development in the area.

The culture and tourism commissioner whose trademark record has propeled the people of Eket senatorial District to canvass support for him to vie for the senatorial District race, urged the people to take the sensitization campaign awareness as a means of electoral power increment in the area as 2019 elections approaches.

The sensitization was welcomed by the electorates as mobilisation and support from the youths, women and cyclist operators from Oron Federal constituency was unprecedented with a mammoth crowd.
