The Eket local government chairman, Hon. Frank Archibong, has urged all who did not participate in the previous voters card registration exercise to partake in the recommenced voters registration tomorrow.

Archibong made this call during the belated Christmas get-together, organized for the Peoples Democratic Party, Eket chapter by the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Dominic Ukpong in Eket.

He stated that no one should claim to love the country or state without arming his or herself with the necessary apparatus that will aid in choosing a leader.

The ALGON chairman, Made it known that in northern Nigeria, the people take the exercise as a do or die affair and as such, mobilize in thousands to register.

” This is a clarion call for everyone between the ages of 18 and above, to go out enmass and be registered” –  he added

He charged all local government Chairmen to mobilize in every ward to ensure that there is increase in the number of accredited voters in the state.

Frank maintained that the Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has a reward for the local government with the highest number of registered voters.

However, he called on the people of Eket local government to go out in numbers to register from tomorrow, as each ward has three days to complete registration.

The schedule for wards in Eket are as follows:

22nd-24th January, 2018, Urban 1. Venue is at St.Francis Primary School, Ikot Ataku.

25-29th January, 2018, Urban 2. Venue, Holy Child Primary school, Idua.

30th January to February 1, Urban 3. Venue, Government Primary School, Ikot Ebiyan.

2nd to 6th February, Urban 4, Primary School, Enen Ekpene.

7th to 9th February, Central 1, Primary School, Afaha Atai.

12th to 14th February, Central 2, Primary School, Ikot Ibiok.

15th to 19th February, Central 3, Primary School, Ikot Uso Ekong.

20th to 22nd February, Central 4, Primary School, Efoi.

23rd to 27th February, Central 5, Primary School, Odio.

28th to 2nd March, Okon 1, Primary School, Ikot Obio Anana.

5th to 7th March, Okon 2, Primary School Okon, opposite Health centre.

8th to 12th March, Urban 3, Government Primary School, Ikot Ebiyan.

13th to 15th March, Central 2, Primary School, Ikot Ibiok.

16th to 20th March, Central 5, Primary School, Odio.

He pleaded with all to note that it is only voters card that can change the narratives in 2019.
