Niger Delta Monarchs Support President’s Mohammadu fight against corruption

The Association of Transitional Rulers of Oil Mineral Producing Communities of Nigeria (TROMPCON), have supported President Mohammadu Buhari’s fight against corruption in the country.
This is contained in a communique issued at the end of the 26th National Conference of the association in Eket Local Government Area of the state on Friday.
The Royal Fathers commended the President Buhari’s stance of zero tolerance for corruption and other social vices.
The communique appealed with Nigerians should be patient with the President in discharging his mandate.
“Members of TROMPCON also expressed joy and thanked God for the President’s safe return to Nigeria from the United Kingdom on his medical vacation to enable him perform as much as desired, ” Communique reads.
The communique urged the Federal Government and other funding stakeholders especially the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas to release money to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as at when due to enable her adequately discharge her core mandate.
The communique calls for spray resolution of the impasse between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), for the interest of parents and students.
The communique thanked the NDDC board for partnering and collaborating with the Royal Fathers of oil and gas bearing communities in their discharge of official responsibities.
The communique renewed the call by TROMPCON President for all multinationals companies operating in the Niger Delta to relocate their headquarters to their operational base without further delay.
The communique called on oil companies to implement the Local Content Policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria as it affects oil and Gas bearing communities.
