AKWA IBOM 2019:  UDOM WAS ORDAINED FOR 8YRS-ANIEFIOK IWAUDOFIA

As 2019 bell rings louder with intrigues and political scheming, the youths of Akwa Ibom State had  yesterday converged to channel their supplications unto God through prayer conference for the governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel’s Second term bid.

The prayer conference which was said to be the 18th edition of the youth monthly spiritual engagement tagged ” Double Honour” held at the Qua Iboe Church QIC, Ikot Udota Eket witnessed massive turnout of women, students groups, stakeholders and political youth groups across the state. 
In a brief sermon by the resident pastor, pastor Nkantuen; the clergyman charged the youths and congregational members who attended the prayer conference to remain faithful in their assignment either as Assistant or followers; reading from the book of (Isaiah 62:7); the clergyman who was giving prophetic pronouncements as fed by the Holy spirit emphasised the need for consistency as the path way to greater result. 
In an opening speech, the Special Assistant to the governor on Youth matters Mr. Aniefiok Iwaudofia thanked all village youth presidents, the women, stakeholders and students for finding time to partner in the spiritual battle for Udom  continuity. We are here taking up this spiritual adventure to ensure peace reigns within us, we want our communities to remain harmonious with men of high moral rectitude coexisting. It is obvious that the agendas and programs of the Governor for the youths is  so interesting that we must work above board to ensure Udom is given the mandate for another term of 4years after 2019;  
“Udom is in the business of turning boys to men, he is acquainted with less talk more action to create the best out for Akwa Ibom State Youths; His mentality about success is what we all should embrace”it is our core course to deliver the most youth friendly leader in the Niger delta because we are no more instrument of peril and violent but, that of positive impact ” Iwaudofia added. 
In an eulogy note, Rt. Hon. frank Archibong; ALGON Chairman/Transition chairman for Eket local Government commended the governor to have considered the youths actively engaged and participatory in the governance of the State;  The chairman who confessed that the minds of many youths has been positively liberated and impacted through the dakkaakda philosophy reiterated the youths earlier position that there is no alternative option by the youths to give their mandate to another candidate to replace Governor Udom Emmanuel come 2019; 
“let me announce again here that our resolved to buy His Excellency the 2019 nomination form remains our avowed intent”. The chairman said.
Nevertheless, ” pls permit me to use this medium to attract the attention of the governor on the deplorable road linking the prestigious indigenous Heritage Polytechnic, Ikot Udota Eket for consideration in next years budget to enable both students and residents a smooth and serene road network” he added. 
Corroborating the stance of Hon. Frank Archibong was Hon. Essien Nduese; SA media to the governor. The media aid complimented the governor on his pivotal indices in shaping the state to become a tourist haven; The governor deserved a hallmark appraisal; “Despite the state of dwindling economy, the  governor has not said there is no money, this is the only state you can find children going to school compulsorily free from primary 1-Secondary school”. 
 Also speaking was the PDP Chapter chairman of Eket, Obong Iwaad Emmanuel Mbong; The chairman while thanking God for the elevation of the State Chairman of PDP Obong Paul Ekpo; as the COC general said that reasons abound for the people to cue behind Governor Udom Emmanuel’s continuity project. “We are spurred by the  effective and pragmatic regulation of power which is very glaring and encouraging, “There is another divine mandate of which reason we gathered together to pray and command Heaven to begin action as appropriate for Udom Emmanuel come 2019”. 
Notable dignitaries in attendance were SA Branding and marketing, Hon. Ime Uwah; SA legal matters & Documentations, Barr Andem Andem; Hon. Essien Nduese; SA media,   Eket PDP chapter chairman, Obong Iwaad Emmanuel Mbong, Hon. Johnson Benjamin Udobia; SA project monitoring. 
Others are Hon. Usoro Usoro; former chief press secretary to former governor Chief G.O.Akpabio;  Hon. Moses Armstrong; SA on Agriculture, Hon. Etimfon Patrick Edoho; SA project Monitoring, Bishop Godwin Nduaesa; Eket Youth council chairman,  Comrade  Edima Martins; International president of Akwa Ibom Grassroots Movement For Good Governance (AK-GRAMOV), Hon. Evangelist Joe Mbong; President, Eket Senatorial District Youth Assembly and many other youth groups, women and students bodies. 
In a remarks, the representative of the Governor; Barr. Andem Andem; Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Legal matters & documentations posited that a man of such an influential intellectual capacity should  be allowed to pilot the affairs of Akwa Ibom State for another four years term;  “the intellectual capacity to transform an idea and agenda into reality is our prime reason of throwing our weight behind the governor come 2019; our targets is industrialisation and we can’t expect it manifesting when the youths are not ready; The youths before now was cast into dismay, but, now, the identity of the youths in Akwa ibom has been redefined 
thus, I beseech the youth to continue in partnership in supporting the governor for a better pay off; I am very convinced that by the time this road shall be revisited, you will have no doubt than to drum and dance along Udom come 2019″.
